Justin's Crib and House Pictures

We thought you might like to check out Justin's nursery and his new crib! Proud dad to be and his supervisor, Scout worked long and hard to put the crib together. I think they did a great job! Unfortunately, we have to wait for the rest of the baby furniture to be shipped to the store this weekend and then we can pick it up. I have also added a very terrible picture of me fresh out of bed and showing off "the bump". I have also included a few pictures of the house and I plan to add more later! For now, enjoy!

Baby Blog Satisfaction ;)

Hi everyone-
We've been getting many inquiries as to why this blog isn't updated everyday. Well, we are at a point in the pregnancy that it is mostly a waiting game. But, to satisfy your baby Justin update cravings I can share a few little things....

Justin is now the size of an eggplant :) If you visit www.thenest.com and click on the babies section it has all kinds of fun baby information including weekly fruit and veggie size updates. It's kind of fun.

Steven and I developed our birth plan and we have registered with the hospital for when we go into labor so when we get there we have the VIP treatment ;) Feel free to check out our hospital:

We had a visit to the doctor last week and Justin is doing great and is right on schedule. His heartbeat is nice and strong. Might I add so are his kicks which happen to keep me up many of nights. Just little reminders of, "Hey mom, I'm still here!" :)

I just ordered the invitations for the Ann Arbor baby shower which is May 24th. We are registered at www.babiesrus.com

We have a 3D/4D Keepsake Appointment the first week in June which is really amazing. We can meet Justin before he is born. Very vivid and up close pictures of the little guy. We get 4 color pictures and a dvd.

I think that is about it for now. Other than the migranes I have been battling, life is good and we keep on trucking, marking off each day that is closer to meeting our little buddy! We will touch base with any other updates as they come forward! Take care!

It's a boy!

We can finally stop referring to our precious bundle of joy as Baby Hawes and/or "It". We are happy to announce and welcome baby boy Justin Hawes. We are still working on a middle name. Current favorites from the choosing are Alexander, Issac or Steven's Grandpa Tokarski's middle name of Kashmeir (please excuse the spelling, I am not quite sure on it, but we will be finding it out!) Steven's grandpa was a HUGE Tiger's fan and very dedicated to the game. Steven hear he is much like his grandfather and sadly he never was able to meet him because he passed away before Steven was born. We thought it would be a nice way to remember him and Justin is already named after Justin Verlander so we thought that maybe we should keep the baseball theme a-going! We're anxious to hear your thoughts, so please feel free to chime in. We'll be posting some pictures from the ultrasound later tonight, so please feel free to take a peek later. From what we can tell he is adorable! Of course, with beautiful parents like us it's expected right?! ;)
