Auntie Teresa's Visit & Sweet Potatoes

This past weekend we were very excited to hear of an impromptu visit from Auntie Teresa, mommy's bestest friend. It was very low-key and fun. We did a little shopping and spent a lot of time playing with toys, watching movies and of course watching Redwings hockey! As you can see Justin was more than happy to see his auntie!


Justin also tried sweet potatoes the other day and I think we have a winner! Enjoy the video!

The man, the myth, the legend..SANTA!

We were dreading a trip to the mall, waiting in a long line and paying way too much money for Justin to meet Santa, but we then had a surprise the other day....This past weekend we made a Chrsitmas shopping trip to Cabelas and to our to our surprise Santa was there....with no line...free pictures! It was great and Justin loved sitting with Santa. He even smiled! He's been a good little boy thus far so we anticipate a lot of presents from Santa! :)

We had a very active weekend preparing for the holidays so we have much to cover. To begin, we bundled up on a cold snowy day and trekked out to find the perfect Christmas Tree! Enjoy the photos and video!

This weekend marked the first official snowfall of the season. Granted we've had a little bit of accumulation here and there, but this was the first time the snow actually stuck to the ground and it looked wintery. We took Justin out in his snow suit and let him have his first snowy experience. Overall he decided it was wet and cold, but he was slightly intrigued. :) Here are some photos of us all enjoying ourselves outside!

I also started Christmas baking which is a big tradition in my family. As you can see I have my sweet little cookie monsters!
